Our Classic earpiece is fabricated with a curved profile that follows the natural contour of the ear canal. This allows it to sit deeper in your ear and minimize visibility.
Because of the curve, the fit is ear-specific. You select left or right at the time of order.

For those with a unique ear canal shape or who want the most secure, precise fit available, a custom-molded earpiece is also offered. It is fabricated to the exact contours of your ear canal and is the closest fit we provide.

Modified Sony Digital Voice Recorder
At the core of every Secret Prompter System is the modified Sony recorder. The internal circuitry has been reconfigured and resoldered by hand. The circuitry was designed by Lee Lentz, and it cannot be replicated by standard production or rushed.

The Classic System is worn entirely out of sight. Your pre-recorded remarks play from the modified Sony digital recorder concealed in a pocket.
The audio feed travels through a thin neckloop, worn under your shirt, to a wireless earpiece concealed in your ear. You start and pause your audio by touching a tiny switch on your upper thigh.
You are in full command of your pace, from your first word to your last. The signal stays within inches of your body. Nothing transmits into the room.

Your Investment Includes More Than a System
Your Classic System ships with one requirement: a private session with Lee and Vanessa, where you unbox together.
Lee and Vanessa walk through the components, go over your setup, and work with you directly on the talk-and-listen method.
The session is scheduled once your system ships, and usually runs 45 to 60 minutes. There is no additional cost. This requirement exists because we want every client off to a fast start, comfortable with their system, confident in their setup, and ready for whatever is on the calendar.
Following your time with Lee and Vanessa, you have permanent login access to the Secret Prompter Private Client Resource Portal. It contains a library of reference videos and downloadable materials, available whenever you need them.
DUE DILIGENCE
Questions Worth Asking
No. The earpiece is sized and colored to disappear, and sits deep inside the ear canal. The audio plays only inside your ear. Nothing escapes for anyone else to hear. The neckloop and recorder sit beneath your clothing. The signal stays within inches of your body and does not transmit into the room.
During your private set-up session, you'll learn the skill of using Secret Prompter. You hear a phrase and speak it a beat behind, the way the mind already runs ahead of speech. Once it settles, it stays. There is nothing to memorize.
A teleprompter puts a screen between you and the audience, and your eyes requires a screen. The audience sees it. The speaker reads from it. It restricts where you stand, where you look, and how you move. Secret Prompter eliminates the screen entirely. Your prepared remarks play in your ear. Your eye contact, your stage position, and your physical presence are unconstrained. The audience sees a leader in complete command. They see no equipment, because there is nothing for them to see.
The Classic System delivers professional-grade audio through magnetic induction. A neckloop and remote switch concealed under your clothing, connected by a thin cable. It performs in any venue, at a lower investment. The AirPrompter adds a fully wireless mode that operates from a leather portfolio with nothing worn on the body. It offers premium wireless audio, and the flexibility of three modes (including the Classic neckloop mode) in one system.
Standard is one complete Classic system, with everything you need to perform in any environment. Contingency is two complete systems, two of every component, full redundancy. For a presentation where the stakes are high enough to bring you to this page, a single system is the only variable left unaddressed. The Contingency Option removes it. For clients who want Lee available during the event itself, a day-of support retainer is available.
Yes. The system performs in any environment where you are speaking to a camera, an audience, or both. Executives use it for recorded video content, virtual keynotes, and live-streamed presentations. It is also used in broadcast environments where the client appears on camera in conversation with a network anchor or host. You can deliver precise, prepared opening remarks while maintaining the natural presence of a live interview.
Almost nothing. You wire up before you arrive. Everything is already in place under your clothing when you walk in. Your Classic system includes a preflight checklist to insure you're ready take the stage. Your private set-up session walk you through setup in detail.

How soon before my event do I need to order?
Depending on inventory, systems usually ship the next business day after payment processes, via FedEx 2-Day. For most clients, two to three weeks before the event provides comfortable margin for audio preparation and a complete dry run. If your event is closer than that, schedule the consultation immediately and we will confirm what is operationally possible.
What if my event is within 21 days?
Schedule the consultation now. The AirPrompter has been deployed for clients on shorter timelines, but the available margin shrinks quickly. The consultation is the conversation that confirms whether your timeline is workable.
How long does the custom earpiece take?
The custom-molded earpiece is handcrafted. It ships separately within 14 to 21 days of when we receive your ear mold(s).
